My connection through Chiang Mai was nearly nine hours. I had not planned to book anything but found Suan Mali at the last minute and am glad I did. Room was ready when I arrived, the shower was exactly what I needed and I slept properly for four hours. The driver had my name on a board at arrivals — I did not need to figure anything out on my own.

Good value for what it is. I was travelling for work and needed a solid night's sleep before an early flight back to Sydney. The room was quiet enough, the Wi-Fi was stable enough for a late call, and the shuttle driver was there before I even finished checking out. The situation
A family of four — two adults and two children under ten — had an 18-hour layover at CNX on a connecting flight from Singapore to London. They were tired, the children were fractious and they had not planned accommodation.
What we arranged
The Long Layover Suite with flexible check-in matched to their actual arrival. Meals served at two separate times so parents could eat when children napped. Shuttle confirmed for 05:30 the following morning.
The outcome
Family rested properly. Children slept in the bedroom while parents used the sitting area. All four boarded their connection in better shape than when they arrived. They sent a short thank-you email from London the following week.

The situation
A consultant flying Bangkok–Chiang Mai–Tokyo had a tight 7-hour window at CNX. He needed a reliable shower, two hours of sleep, a working desk for calls and a timely departure — with no room for any of those things to go wrong.
